The Spaces In Between

This work explores liminality and the spaces in-between. How narratives of memory, trauma and identity can be told through contemporary ceramics. Stairs are a beautiful structure in their own right as well as providing us with the possibility for unstructured encounters and serendipitous happenings. Stairs can temporarily suspend time and space therefore, we are free from internal and external limitations and can open up to the opportunities of the unforeseen.
