The “Broken Chain” is an ongoing body of work, reflecting the duality of strength and fragility. Originally exploring feelings surrounding grief and family bonds. Specifically inspired by poem read at grandfathers funeral called “The Broken Chain”. With one link to another the works allow contemplation of life’s entanglements and intricacies whilst appearing strong and resilient they hold a trace of inherent fragility.
